Eurovision fans are the best

Last year in Malmø I caught a glimpse of the love, harmony and sheer joyousness of the Eurovision atmosphere that the hardcore fans of the competition bring with them. It is unabashed fun and happiness. It has been a great great privilege to see all these people coming together from more than 30 countries and having a great time together. 

If the UN consisted of Eurovision fans, there would be no time for division or conflict. Know one would take themselves to seriously.  Vienna will probably be the Austrian city having the honour to host next year´s competiton, they can look forward to a week of warmth and fun.

In all the concerts, festivals, Pride and sports events, none of their fans or supporters come even close to Eurovision fans. There was none of pushing and shoving or anti-social behaviour. Yes they booed at Russia, but they did so on behalf of all those living in Russia who are prevented from doing so.
