Heidrik - Take A Bow

Balmy Sopot Beach on the Baltic Coastline of Poland is the perfect venue for covering "Take A Bow" Madonna´s 1994 number one hit. 

In the above clip Faeroese singer Heidrik delicately belts out the song with UK folk singer Josh Savage performs back-up. Both strum their ukulele which is suits the songs dreamy chords perfectly.

Madonna herself picked up the ukulele on her last tour where she performed an acoustic version of "True Blue" and "La vie une rose". Only once or twice did she perform "Take A Bow" on her Asian leg of her tour. It received a standing ovation.

Let´s hope she continues the love affair with this instrument, takes a bow and a leaf out of Heiðrik´s book of song covers.
